Our in house frame-building & design center is a hub for the best in custom bike building. Our staff's extensive knowledge in component selection can guide you through an exciting & collaborative experience to find your way onto the bike of your dreams.

We take care recommending only reliable and quality components. We also provide lead time ETA’s for each custom build so you can know what to expect.

Please place your order by visiting the bike model page & selecting the dropdown configuration you prefer. Or from the link sent in your custom quote. You will be then prompted to send in some optional info. This helps us to ensure proper bike fit and sizing. We can also send custom invoices or process orders over the phone.

Ordering your frame early in the build planning process helps us shorten your lead time. Frame and components need full payments to secure their respective ETA's. We can split up those payments however you prefer. Once the components have been selected and paid for we will immediately begin reserving all of them for your build. (For fastest turn-around place a frame or build order to reserve the next available position in the fab queue.)

Now you can start dreaming of your first ride as we prepare your bike!

Once your frame is ordered we assign you a position in our production schedule. Your frame’s materials are then pulled from inventory and reserved. Production lead times range depending on your position in our fab queue. We build in small batches of 4-8 frames at a time. Once your production batch begins it generally takes 1-2 weeks for fabrication.

Throughout the fabrication process, every single Chumba frame is inspected multiple times for proper tube/frame alignment, weld quality, finish work and compatibility tolerances.

This is often the hardest / funnest decision. If you need more time to decide you can always let us know finish choices closer to production completion.

Steel frames include 7 color options or choose from a vast range of color upgrades.

Titanium frames come with a brushed titanium finish. Titanium frames with brushed or anodized finishes are performed in house.

We can provide custom paint options for all of our frames and many components.

After finishing, your frame is faced, chased, reamed and prepped for assembly. This hones the tolerances after painting so your components install flush onto the frame.

Next we professionally assemble & tune your bike like it was one of our own. Care is spent to thoroughly quality control the entire process from material selection all the way through delivery.

Once your assembly has been completed we professionally pack the bike for transport. We send complete bikes in a frame box with front wheel & handlebar removed. Frames and components are carefully padded with protective foam and paper.

Our shipping services are carbon neutral by participating in carbon offset purchasing programs.
